Bible Studies and The Simplicity of the Message of Eternal Life
“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—theLord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
This is the Bible verse of the day. I just wanted to share it here with a picture of the beautiful Earth that is mentioned in it.
Frequently you may see a Bible verse posted on the side of my website. Today I would like to share a few that I have seen recently that I find to be particularly inspirational.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
This is very much in line with the material that is posted on the front page of this website.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
It is wonderful to be grateful for the bread that you have to eat, and all the other blessings bestowed upon you by God. But by far and away the greatest gift He gives us is His word, and through belief in it Eternal Life.
In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
And the wonderful thing is that you don’t have to wait at all. You can proclaim His name today!
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
A lovely Psalm, and always comforting to know and remember.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
This is important to remember, both in a spiritual way and in a practical way.
